I think is the second ad from Worst Onion...I mean, First Union, that you've posted, Pat, and they almost lead me to think that at one point the bank was...compassionate and/or friendly.
ReplyDelete(Sorry to any former First Union employees for making far-reaching generalizations...I never had that great of a time with them after they bought my bank in the 80s.)
I really like these early-'70's First Union ads. They all have a certain hope and innocence to them. I have a bunch of them I'll be posting.
